In 2010, the 23rd World Hakka Conference will be held in Heyuan City, Guangdong. The Heyuan Municipal Party Committee and the municipal government plan to construct a Hakka Cultural Park, which will serve as the main venue for the conference. To highlight the architectural and landscape features of the park, the main axis adopts a relatively regular formal language to emphasize the solemn overall momentum of the central axis landscape. The natural axis centered on the lake area mainly adopts a more flexible and free formal language, integrating the artificial landscape of the lake area with the natural landscape of mountains and waters.
