The Zhujiang Beer Factory site is located to the east of the Liede Bridge, adjacent to Zhujiang New Town and the Guangzhou TV Tower, with a first-line view of the river. The plot is complete and covers an area of 25 hectares. The site has rare industrial heritage along the riverfront. At the same time, Zhujiang Beer has successfully created the Party Pier B District and the "Full Moon Party Pier" beer and music theme brand, becoming a platform in Guangzhou that attracts high-end cultural and entertainment consumption. It is also the only old factory renovation project in Guangzhou that has achieved a balance of social and economic benefits, and it has great potential to further develop into an international cultural and entertainment pioneer port.
The Zhujiang Beer Factory renovation project is another remarkable urban renovation project designed by IAPA in Guangzhou after the Guangzhou Newspaper and Cultural Center. The client hopes that the renovation of the Zhujiang Beer Factory site will become a world-class international harbor - Party Pier Port, promoting Zhujiang Beer to grow into a first-class international beer brand. Working together with UNESCO CISV, the project aims to make Party Pier Port a leader in the new trend of international cultural and entertainment life, expanding new international horizons for Guangzhou, and enhancing the quality of life in Guangzhou.
The overall planning concept of Party Pier Port - Urban Platform, Three-Dimensional Harbor. The project implies traditional port elements such as "lighthouse, dock, deck, platform, warehouse," forming an integrated comprehensive entertainment and living area. It aims to create a pioneering life theme port that is "inclusive of the international, serving the international, and showcasing itself," accommodating four core functions: high-end international institutions, cultural entertainment, tourism services, and international communities.
International Waterfront Leisure Area
A continuous 3-kilometer wooden walkway, with the widest part extending about 15 meters over the river surface, uses irregular curved surfaces, elevated viewing platforms, and waterfront platforms to provide a changing visual experience for visitors along the river. The walkway is constructed using Swedish imported eco-friendly composite wood, which is durable, anti-slip, and suitable for the rainy and humid climate of the south.
