This design proposes an inward-oriented layout for the building units, centered around a courtyard, with family life revolving around it. This lifestyle is also very suitable for the traditional concepts of Chinese families. This layout reduces the spacing between buildings, thereby converting the external public landscape area into internal courtyard areas, increasing the efficiency and privacy of use.
To enhance the comfort within the group and the proportion of open space, each group has a shared courtyard enclosed by a group of villas, forming the conceptual theme of 'courtyard within courtyards' in this design. At the same time, this kind of group layout also provides the possibility for relatives or friends to vacation and live together, purchasing multiple villas around the shared courtyard.
The staggered layout between groups also encloses several courtyards, further emphasizing the theme of 'courtyard within courtyards'. In this way, a three-level courtyard system composed of courtyards of different sizes creates a rich and colorful landscape system.
